Christmas or Resurrection Day--How could one ever decide on which one is their favorite? Christmas shows us of a gift & plan of God's amazing love. Resurrection Day is the evidence that His great plan is fulfilled. Thinking of tomorrow we will celebrate the resurrection of our Saviour and it brings this song to mind.
Justice and Mercy Met on Calvary
The righteousness of God demanded judgment
The goodness of His heart revealed His love
But all my sin had blocked my soul from heaven
So Jesus had to come down from above
Justice and mercy met on Calvary
Where the pure and perfect Saviour took my place
Pardon and forgiveness covered all of my unrighteousness
And every drop of blood was full of grace
There was no way to keep my soul from dying
Death was the only sentence there could be
But Jesus saw my guilt and heard me crying
And became the pure sacrifice for me

Sometimes thinking on such wondrous love just overwhelms me with emotion. If I had been the only person Christ would have died for me. But the thing is all of us have sin that blocks us from Heaven. Jesus was the pure sacrifice for ALL OF US! Because He loves us.....Every drop of blood was full of His grace & love.]
